4.1 Tool Assembly

Tool assembly is an optional operation and the user can skip this.

Tool assembly is generally part of Die-casting industry. Tool used in the work order needs to be assembled before used in manufacturing a product.

Step 1: Go to Tool Shop

Step 2: Tool Assembly Requests

Tool Assembly requests are available in pending tab.

Step 3: Click on Pending

Step 4: Click on Assemble

The Component Master will have components tagged to tool in the work order that will be shown in the pop up.

On clicking next, the tool assembly operation steps from SOP will be populated.

After assemble, the request will be moved to assembled tab.
